GENERAL CONTRACTING
Carl A. Nelson & Co. is a tough competitor as a general contractor. Our extensive cost database, and subcontractor contacts ensures we get competitive, accurate pricing. However, even after the bid, we work hard to keep costs down through planning for both quality work and safety.

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
As the construction manager, we act as the owner’s agent (i.e. an extension of the owner’s staff). Looking out for the owner’s best interest is our number one goal.

The high level of education and experience of the Carl A. Nelson & Co. staff makes us ideal to act as construction managers. Every project manager has a Bachelors of Science in engineering or similar field. Furthermore, our project managers, on average, have over 20 years of experience. When value engineering is requested or constructability issues need resolved, our technical background and experience adds value to the team’s solutions.

We understand each project is different. Therefore, we strive to understand each owner’s goals and constraints. Based on this information, we aim to provide the most value for every dollar invested.
