The Ft. Madison Community Hospital expansion includes the medical office and emergency room/urgent care additions. The medical office project is 20,000 SF and includes doctor offices, exam rooms, and nurse stations.
	The 8,000 SF emergency room/urgent care expansion provides additional space for emergency care, chemotherapy, trauma/cardiac, radiology, and treatment/exam rooms. A value engineering effort by Carl A. Nelson & Company and the mechanical contractor team resulted in $25,000 savings back to the Owner on the emergency room/urgent care addition.
