| Carl A. Nelson & Company was selected as the general contractor for the
construction of two medical office buildings for Great River Health Systems. The
facilities connect with the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa. The Mercy
Plaza is 92,000 SF of conventional structural steel construction with an architectural
precast concrete and EIFS shell. The Eastman Plaza is 99,000 SF with an architectural
precast concrete and brick exterior. Both buildings were constructed concurrently. The
total construction cost for the project was over $18 million. "Carl
