| This
facility has been an evolutionary project. Beginning with the original building
constructed in 1981, there have been four phases to this facility, all of which have been
completed by Carl A. Nelson & Company. The construction has consisted of conventional
structural steel framing with an architectural precast exterior. The swimming pool
addition utilized concrete, double-tees for the roof with the balance of the facility
having a conventional single-ply, ballasted roof. This facility now encompasses approximately 60,000 S.F. and features the following amenities: Two Gymnasiums, Olympic Size Swimming Pool and Whirlpool, Child Care Center, Men and Women’s Health Clubs, Game Room, Suspended Running/Walking Track, Nautilus/Free Weight Room, Cardiovascular Room, Male and Female Locker Rooms, Offices and Meeting Rooms. |
