At CANCO, we put Safety First
Carl A. Nelson & Company is committed to a program of safety on our projects.
That means:
- ensuring a safe working environment for every employee, trade contractor, and other visitors to the job site;
- preventing injury and the loss of property; and
- conserving material and financial resources.
Carl A. Nelson & Company’s approach to safety reflects the same long-term mindset that guides how the company is owned and led. Expectations are consistent, responsibilities are clear, and safety planning is treated as part of the work — not an add-on.
For clients, this translates to jobsites that are well planned, predictable, and disciplined — environments where work progresses safely because expectations are understood and enforced every day.
As of February 21, 2026, the company has surpassed six full years without a lost-day accident — and counting! That record is not the result of a single initiative or campaign. It reflects stable leadership, experienced field supervision, and repeatable processes applied from project to project.
